Renowned Islamic cleric, Prof. Imam Taofiq Adesina Abdulazeez has called on the Soun of Ogbomoso,Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye,and other prominent figures in the community to cherish and support their Grand Imam, Dr. Taliat Yunus Ayilara.
The cleric stressed the importance of solidarity and cooperation for the overall benefit of Ogbomoso land and the Muslim community across South West Nigeria.
Prof. Abdulazeez in his message title “Message To Ogbomoso Muslims”, extended his congratulations to the Grand Imam on the successful performance of this year’s Hajj and his safe return.
“On behalf of all Muslims of good will at home and abroad, I congratulate the Grand Imam of Ogbomoso land, Dr. Taliat Yunus Ayilara, on his successful performance of this year’s Hajj and safe return home. I wish the Grand Imam Hajj mabrur, security, peace of mind, and happiness,” he stated.
The cleric also expressed his solidarity with the Imam and the Muslim community in Ogbomoso, wishing them peace and prosperity.
“We stand in solidarity with the Imam and the entire Muslims in Ogbomoso land and wish the town all the best,” he said.
In his message, Prof. Abdulazeez lauded the Soun of Ogbomoso for reigning during the tenure of such an esteemed and eloquent Imam, who is highly respected in the Muslim community across South West Nigeria.
“We wish to congratulate the Soun of Ogbomoso land for being on the throne during the imamate of a worthy popular son of the land, an erudite and eloquent Imam who is the envy of many in the Muslim community in the South West, Nigeria,” he noted.
He urged the Oba and other influential personalities in Ogbomoso to cherish their Imam and collaborate with him for the betterment of the entire region.
“We, therefore, urge the Oba and other significant personalities in Ogbomoso to jealousy cherish their Imam, support, and cooperate with him for the overall good of Ogbomoso land and the entire Muslims in the South West Nigeria,” he appealed.
Prof. Abdulazeez once again congratulated the Grand Imam, the royalty, and the people of Ogbomoso.
“Once again, congratulations, our worthy Imam. Congratulations to the royalty and elite in Ogbomoso land, and congratulations to the entire people of Ogbomoso land,” he signed off.
