Falconets head coach, Chris Danjuma is targeting victory in Monday’s friendly against Mexico.
The West Africans are currently preparing for the 2024 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Bogota, Colombia.
The Falconets defeated Australia 2-1 in their first pre-tournament friendly on Friday.
Danjuma now wants his side to head into the competition with another win against Mexico.
“Our victory over Australia was such a sweet one but I have told the ladies to drive it into the recesses of their minds and concentrate on Monday’s encounter,” the coach told thenff.com.
“We need another victory to sustain our winning mentality. We won five of our six qualifying matches with healthy score lines and have now added a victory over the Australians to boot.”
