    Daily Trust Editor-in-Chief loses mother

    Hajiya Rabi Idris ( Hajiya Umma), mother of Daily Trust Editor- in-Chief, Malam Hamza Idris, is dead.

    Confirming Hajiya Rabi’s death, one of her sons, Aminu Idris, said she passed away in the early hours of  Monday 23rd June, 2025, at her residence in Kano, after a brief illness.

    Burial arrangement will be held at 11:00am at Wali Maigeza Cemetery, popularly known as Kofar Mazugar Cemetery, in Kano metropolis.
