- Chairman of Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote and Microsoft Chief Executive Bill Gates are among the dignitaries participating in the ongoing National Economic Council, NEC, meeting at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.
The Vice President, Kashim Shettima is presiding over the meeting where health and nutrition issues would be discussed extensively.
Present at the meeting are governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa State), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Lawan Dauda (Zamfara State), among others.
Also in attendance are Deputy governors representing their principals, some Ministers and some state commissioners.
The meeting is expected to have a holistic review of the nation’s economic policy and the recent fuel price increase.
