Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) – QAHE’s strategic partner in Jordan
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) offers some of the most respected honorary awards in the field of education. Their Honorary Doctorate Degree and Distinguished Professorship Award recognize outstanding individuals who have made significant, lifelong contributions to advancing education on a global scale. Nominations are now open for these prestigious honors.
QAHE is recognized as a leader in quality assurance and accreditation globally. We hold institutional membership of the International Confederation of Higher Education (ICHE), an international network of higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies and other organizations. This recognition affirms their expertise at an international level.
QAHE has also signed Memorandums of Understanding with various reputed accreditation agencies across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. This includes agencies in countries like Moldova, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia and Syria. The MoUs facilitate mutual recognition and collaboration with these premier quality assurance bodies. QAHE also has affiliations with professional associations operating in distinct domains. This includes AROQA for the Arab region, ISSA Egypt for information security, and TEKINDER for technology education in Turkey. We are also a member of the E-Learning Quality Network (ELQN), which recognizes our capabilities for assuring online education excellence.
QAHE Honorary Doctorate Degree
QAHE’s Honorary Doctorate Degree is conferred upon visionary leaders, researchers, innovators and educators who have had an extraordinary positive impact through their work. This honorary doctorate allows recipients to use the title “Dr.” in recognition of their achievements and service. Past recipients include heads of state, cabinet ministers, university presidents, and others who have demonstrated exceptional leadership.
To be considered for an Honorary Doctorate from QAHE, candidates must have at least 20 years of notable experience in education or a related field. They should provide evidence of outstanding accomplishments, publications, innovations or reforms that have greatly improved access to education. Self-nominations are accepted.
QAHE Distinguished Professorship Award
The Distinguished Professorship Award from QAHE is one of the highest honors in academia. It recognizes distinguished individuals who have made immense contributions to their field through research, teaching, and leadership over an esteemed career spanning at least 25 years. Past recipients hold positions like deans, directors, distinguished professors and former government education ministers.
Ideal candidates will have an exemplary record of publications, student success, policy work, program development or other scholarly activities that have widened the boundaries of knowledge. They should also show a continued dedication to advancing their discipline through service, mentorship and innovations. Nominations are accepted from peers, as well as self-nominations.
