In a bid to celebrate the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and engage its customers, Ecobank Nigeria has successfully concluded the first draw of its “Save and Score” promo, rewarding 50 lucky customers.

The promo, launched in November and set to run until January 6, 2024, is a testament to Ecobank’s commitment as the official sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023, the largest football event on the continent, commencing on January 13, 2024, in Côte d’Ivoire.

Under the promotional campaign, 10 fortunate customers have won an all-expense-paid trip to witness the final match of the AFCON tournament in Abidjan, while an additional 100 customers stand a chance to win N25,000. The promo is inclusive, catering to new, existing, and dormant account holders.

To qualify, customers need to make a single deposit of N100,000 and above, maintain a minimum account balance of N100,000 for 30 days, use their cards, and transact on any of Ecobank’s digital channels.

Expressing her satisfaction with the customer response, Korede Demola-Adeniyi, Head of Consumer Banking at Ecobank, emphasized that the promo aims to reward the loyalty of customers and attract new ones.

She encouraged customers to continue funding their accounts to enhance their chances of winning and urged those without accounts to join and explore Ecobank’s digital offerings.

Prospective customers can open accounts through the website (aop.ecobank.com), download the Xpresspoint Application on Google Playstore, or visit any Ecobank branch.

Even dormant account holders can reactivate their accounts, obtain their cards, and initiate transactions using any of the available digital platforms.

Jeremy Awori, Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Group, highlighted the bank’s pride in associating with the Confederation of African Football for the success of AFCON 2023.

He underlined the role of football in uniting communities and fostering regional integration, aligning with Ecobank’s pan-African commitment.

Awori emphasized Ecobank’s contribution to the magic of football, citing the presence of 16 out of 35 African countries where Ecobank operates among the 24 competing in Côte d’Ivoire.

As the “Save and Score” promo continues, Ecobank remains dedicated to providing a unique and rewarding experience for its customers, ensuring that the passion for football is celebrated across the continent.
