Ecobank Nigeria is proud to introduce a range of specialized financial solutions designed to ease the burden of school expenses for parents and guardians, while also bolstering educational institutions as they prepare for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year.

In a strategic move, the bank is extending tailor-made loan packages to educational institutions to enhance their infrastructure, ensuring they are fully equipped for the upcoming academic session.

Furthermore, Ecobank has optimized its digital platforms to provide unparalleled convenience for school fee payments and other education-related transactions.

Korede Demola-Adeniyi, Head of Consumer Banking, announced these innovative ‘back-to-school’ initiatives in Lagos, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to supporting the growth of the nation’s education sector.

She underscored how Ecobank’s digital offerings aim to alleviate financial pressures on parents, students, and educational institutions, simplifying fee payments without any hassle.

Among the digital offerings are the Ecobank Mobile App, EcobankPay, and Ecobank Online, enabling contactless fee payments.

Additionally, the bank is offering personal loans and salary advance packages at competitive interest rates, facilitating international transfers for offshore school fees payments, and providing affordable remittance options.

Families abroad can send money home to assist with fees at zero charges through the Rapidtransfer app.

Ecobank is also introducing the Banking-for-School pack, specially designed for educational institutions to access working capital and loans.

This comprehensive solution includes easy fee collections, zero charges on collection accounts with EcobankPay, secure online banking via Omni Lite, and convenient payment cards.

Speaking specifically about the loans available to educational institutions, Mrs. Demola-Adeniyi assured that the bank has streamlined the process to accommodate the current economic realities in the country.

She stated, “As a bank deeply committed to education, we are prioritizing the educational needs of our customers as schools resume.

Every child deserves access to education, and we are simplifying the process for parents to provide this fundamental right.”

Mrs. Demola-Adeniyi encouraged schools to choose Ecobank as their preferred financial institution for payments and collections, highlighting the bank’s demonstrated expertise in fee collection both locally and internationally.

She also encouraged schools and individuals who have not yet opened Ecobank accounts to do so in order to access these valuable offers.
