The Niger State Government has announced that it received palliatives from the Bank of Industry to be shared among vulnerable persons in the state to alleviate their suffering amidst current economic challenges facing the country.

The Special Adviser to the Niger State Governor on Digital Media, Abdulbaqy Usman Ebbo, said the items will be shared among those in need across the state.

According to him, “The items were received by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Sadiq Yusuf, along with the State Commissioner for Environment, Yakubu Kolo.

“The palliative items include essential food products and are set to be distributed to those in need across the state in no distant time.”

“This initiative is a demonstration of the Bank of Industry’s commitment to supporting the lives and well-being of Nigerians, particularly during challenging times being experienced recently in the country. It is aimed at providing relief to the most vulnerable citizens of the state.”

The Bank of Industry, in a letter to the state governor, commended him for the governor’s leadership style and dedication to serving the people.

The total package of the items is 1,513, and each package contains the following items: two packs of 1kg Golden Penny Semovita, 10 packs of 70g Golden Penny Noodles, one pack of 910g Golden Penny Vegetable Oil, two packs of 500g Granulated Sugar, and two packs of 900g Honeywell Wheat Meal.
