Reinstated Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu has been captured in a viral video celebrating the results of the ongoing governorship election in the state.

DAILY POST reports that electoral officials started uploading results from polling units across the state as early as 3 pm.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, 90.33 percent of the results from the polling units have been successfully uploaded to its Result Viewing Portal.

Most of the polling units announced so far were won by Monday Okpebholo, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This has triggered celebration in some quarters especially amongst members of the ruling party.

In a viral video clip on X, Philip Shaibu was captured mocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, saying “Na God get power.”
