The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has apprehended five suspected internet Fraudsters in Lagos.
The Lagos Zonal Office of the Commission made this known on its Twitter handle on Thursday.
The suspects were identified as Tamaraemi Akpoviri, Jonathan Oshioke Okhumode, Jordan O. Clifford, Okorie J. Christian, and Enabule Peace Osaro.
According to the commission, the suspects were captured during a well-coordinated sting operation at the Buena Vista Estate on Orchid Road in the prestigious Lekki area of Lagos State.
The spokesperson for the commission in the statement signed by th spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren said “items recovered from the suspects, at the point of arrest, include exotic cars, mobile devices and laptop computers.
“The arrest was made possible due to valuable intelligence received concerning the fraudulent activities of these individuals.
“The suspects have volunteered their statements and will be charged to court once investigations are concluded”.
