A high-powered delegation of Kaduna-based Islamic clerics paid Governor Uba Sani a Sallah homage at Sir Kashim House, to felicitate with him on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations on Saturday.
Speaking during the visit, the Chief Imam of Al-Manar mosque, Dr Tukur Adam said that the visit was in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
Dr Adam further said that Islam enjoins Muslims to pay homage to their leaders to celebrate with them during such festive periods, before their parents, traditional rulers and Islamic clerics.

The Chief Imam of Al Manar mosque commended Governor Uba Sani for his people-centred policies which have been bringing succour to the common man in Kaduna State.
According to Dr Adam, the Governor’s style of administration has brought about peace and development, praying that Allah(SWT) should guide him on the right path.
Speaking the same vein, the Chief Imam of Maiduguri road, Professor Yahya Mujahid, thanked the Almighty Allah(SWT) ‘’for allowing us to witness another Eid in peace.’’
He recalled that Governor Uba Sani’s administration has enabled the people of Kaduna state to look for their means of sustenance without fear of molestation.
‘’Property owners no longer fear demolition. Plot owners are now not afraid that their title documents will be revoked. Workers do not fear arbitrary sack,’’ Prof Mujahid said.
The Maiduguri road Chief Imam reminded that Allah(SWT) will reward any leader that brings succour to the people, adding that may He reward the Governor for his good deeds.
In his remark, Chief Imam of Costain Quarters, Sheikh Saleh Yakubu recalled that their foundation, the Attaisir Development Foundation, used to train street urchins who engage in crime but it has now stopped functioning.
The Sheikh advised the Governor to resuscitate the activities of the Foundation as they will reduce the incidence of phone snatching, burglary and petting crimes that are becoming rampant.
In his contribution, Sheikh Abubakar Sadiq who is the Chief Imam of Nagwamatse road mosque, implored the Governor to look into the complaints of some former civil servants who were retired by the past administration, but are yet to receive their entitlements.
On his part, Sheikh Suleiman Muhammad commended the District Head of Gabasawa, Alhaji Shittu Ibrahim Dikko, for instituting a neighbourhood security watch which patrols the area.
The Chief Imam of Kano road mosque, Sheikh Habibu Umar, thanked the Governor for the road project and other infrastructural upgrade at Kabala area, pleading that adequate drainages should be constructed.
Responding, Governor Uba Sani thanked the clerics for the visit and promised to look into all their suggestions. He also sought for their prayers and support, in his efforts to maintain the peace and bring development to all sections of Kaduna State.
