The President of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, SAN, has called on Muslims across the country to use the occasion of Eid al-Adha to reflect on the values of sacrifice, compassion, and unity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

In a goodwill message issued on Friday and signed by the Society’s National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Sola Hassan, the Islamic leader extended warm Eid greetings to members of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society and the global Muslim Ummah, urging them to deepen their faith and commitment to service and humanity.

“Eid Mubarak! May the divine blessings of this sacred festival fill your hearts with joy, your homes with peace, and your lives with Allah’s boundless mercy,” the statement read in part.

Prince Kazeem encouraged Muslims to emulate the core values of Eid al-Adha by reaching out to the less privileged and promoting communal harmony.

He emphasized the mission of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society in championing education, Da’wah, and social development.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria also seized the moment to call on leaders at all levels of government to redouble their efforts in addressing the nation’s challenges.

He urged for inclusive governance, sustained security reforms, and policies that prioritise economic recovery and the welfare of citizens.

“As we celebrate, let us do so with gratitude, share our blessings, and remember one another in our prayers,” he said.

He concluded by praying for healing, prosperity, and divine guidance for Nigeria and the global Muslim community, adding that the festival should inspire collective resolve to build a just and peaceful society.

The message was released ahead of the Eid el-Adha celebrations, which will be marked nationwide on Friday, June 6, 2025 (10th Dhul-Hijjah, 1445 AH).
