Female ministers, pastors’ wives, and women leaders from Nigeria, along with international delegates from the UK and the United States, gathered at the Radisson Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, for a profound event dedicated to honouring the legacy of the late Reverend Fola Achudume.

Known fondly as “RFA,” the visionary behind the Female Ministers Conference and lead pastor of Victory Life Bible Church International, Reverend Achudume had meticulously laid plans for the gathering before her passing, ensuring every detail was arranged to carry forward her mission.

Apostle Lawrence Achudume, her husband and supportive counterpart in ministry, reflected deeply on her legacy, pledging to uphold her mission of empowering women.

“Her vision to empower women will inspire generations,” Apostle Achudume affirmed. “People will continue to gather in her memory, celebrating her dedication to this cause.”

He also acknowledged the conference speakers and attendees, expressing his gratitude for their continued support in sustaining her vision.

The conference, now in its sixth edition, is an integral part of Royal Ladies International, an initiative Rev. Achudume founded two decades ago to foster spiritual and personal growth among women.

Engineer Bola Adeoye, Global Team Leader of Royal Ladies International, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, describing RFA as “a woman of many parts” who tirelessly supported children, youths, adults, vulnerable women, and widows.

Adeoye assured attendees that the organization would maintain Reverend Achudume’s vision, stating, “Her impact will echo for generations, and we are committed to carrying her legacy forward.”

Throughout the conference, prominent female ministers shared powerful messages inspired by Reverend Achudume’s mission. Pastor Toyin Poju Oyemade of Covenant Christian Centre emphasized the centrality of love in ministry.

“Love is the highest form of devotion,” Oyemade said. “The true fruit of ministry lies not in our public actions but in our daily devotion and capacity to love God, reflecting God’s love through our lives.”

She encouraged the attendees to prioritize love in their ministry, questioning, “In all our efforts, how do we prioritize our love work?”

Chartered Accountant Sola Adesakin offered insights on wealth creation, drawing on principles from 2 Kings 4.

“We must teach not only the way of God but also the methods of God,” Adesakin urged. She highlighted practical strategies such as collaboration, organization, and goal visualization, emphasizing that prosperity is achievable even in challenging economies.

Pastor Yemisi Mathew Asimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Centre, London, led a session focused on the conference theme, “Evolve: Sharpening Our Living Edge.”

She urged the attendees to embrace change and growth, stating, “Evolution is about changing for the better. We must continue to move forward and not remain the same.”

Emphasizing self-knowledge and purpose, Asimolowo stressed the importance of understanding one’s unique calling, saying, “We are God’s workmanship, His masterpiece.”

Pastor Esther Akinsiun, a gospel artist, praised Reverend Achudume’s impact, describing her as “a woman of many parts, with a heart that yearned for every woman to flourish.”

Akinsiun celebrated RFA’s dedication to empowering women, recognizing her influence as a driving force behind the conference.

In a remarkable moment, Apostle Achudume announced the birth of a miracle baby, conceived following prayers at the previous year’s conference, a testament to the enduring impact of RFA’s vision and faith.

Dr. Toyin Banjo of Victory Life Bible Church International, London Branch, hailed this joyful news as evidence of Reverend Achudume’s continued legacy of faith and empowerment.

The conference concluded with a renewed sense of commitment among attendees to further RFA’s mission.

Reverend Fola Achudume’s legacy, like a rose that never withers, continues to inspire and empower women to flourish in their calling, leaving an indelible mark on those she touched.
