Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has claimed that Arsenal’s centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will be “focused” on stopping Erling Haaland on Sunday.
Haaland failed to score against the Gunners in their two Premier League fixtures last season.
Guardiola is expecting Saliba and Gabriel to give his in-form striker another hard battle at the Etihad.
“[William] Saliba and Gabriel, they are incredibly focussed with Haaland all the time,” Guardiola told reporters.
“It’s not one-against-one, it’s two-against-one, sometimes three-against-one.
“So that’s why it’s difficult to attack them…”
