EPL: He never leaves me when I’m up against Rashford – Ben White hails Arsenal star
Arsenal defender, Ben White, has hailed teammate Bukayo Saka’s understanding of football.
White plays on the right side of Arsenal’s defence, while Saka plays upfront, operating from the wings.
He said that Saka shares defensive duties with him effortlessly.
White is part of a resolute Mikel Arteta’s defence line with him adapting to a versatile role at full-back.
White spoke to former England goalkeeper Ben Foster on Amazon Prime, “If I’m on the ball in the pocket then maybe get ready to throw the ball but when it’s mine or [Bukayo Saka] you’re flying,” said White.
“The amount of defending he [Saka] does for me… it’s crazy. He never leaves me one-vs-one which obviously is a massive help for me when I’m up against Rashford.”
