Former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas has expressed his likeness for Manchester City’s main man, Erling Haaland.
Fabregas paid tribute to Haaland, calling the Norwegian “a machine”.
The former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder told Planet Premier League that defenders cannot get complacent against the former Borussia Dortmund striker.
“Especially in the form that he [Erling Haaland] is in now, I would never get too complacent, you know, if I was a central defender or an Arsenal player or any player in any other team when we play against Haaland because the guy’s a machine,” the Spaniard said.
“I really like him. I wish I played with a striker of his calibre and yeah, we need to always be on our toes to stop him.”
Some football lovers and pundits, however, believe that Haaland does not show up during big games.
For instance, a former Chelsea defensive midfielder, John Obi Mikel recently slammed the Norway International, saying he has a tendency to go missing when City needed him most.
