Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has admitted he took off Mykhailo Mudryk in their 6-2 win at Wolves because he was not happy with his performance.
Mudryk was handed a start at the Molineux as the Blues looked to record their first win of the season.
But Maresca took off the Ukraine winger at halftime and replaced him with Pedro Neto.
In his press conference after the game, Maresca was asked about the substitution.
He replied: “I was not happy. In some moments, we can manage situations better.
“He was working hard off the ball but on the ball, I expect a bit more quality from Misha. He had some good moments today but the reason why was to change it and give Pedro some minutes.”
