Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has spoken on the Financial Fair play, FFP, hearing which begins on Monday.

Guardiola insisted that they have not spoken about it in the dressing room and he is looking forward to the verdict from the independent panel.

He told reporters on Friday: “Hopefully it finishes soon. The independent panel will decide. Looking forward to the decision.

“I’m not a lawyer, there are many in this country and Spain. I wait to see. No [talked about in the dressing room]. Erling is not a lawyer. It’s gone to an independent panel. I don’t talk to them about that.

“I’m happy it starts on Monday, I know there will be rumours but we are going to see. I know what people are looking for. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty.”
City have been charged with a breach of financial fair play rules over a nine-year period.

The period under review is between 2009 and 2018.

In that period, City won the Premier League title three times.
