EPL: Maybe it’s the 115 charges – Guardiola tells Arteta to reveal Man City’s secrets

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has asked Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta to explain what he knows about their secrets.

Arteta worked as Guardiola’s assistant between 2016 and 2019, with the two coaches still maintaining a good relationship.

In the last two seasons, Arsenal have finished in second place behind City.

Following their feisty 2-2 draw at the Etihad last Sunday, there has been bad blood and exchange or words between both camps.

After City complained about Arsenal’s tactics, Arteta claimed he knows about all the champions’ methods.

When asked about the comments, Guardiola told reporters on Friday: “Next time he has to be more clear about exactly what he means. We know exactly what happened here in those four years.

“Maybe it’s about the 115 charges (for allegedly breaking Premier League financial rules). Maybe he has information on that, or maybe he has something (else), I don’t know?

“Next time, with the good relations I have with him, he can answer exactly what he means when he says he was here.”
