Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has hailed Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland for his impressive display against the Blues on Sunday.
Haaland scored a goal in Man City’s Premier League 2-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
His teammate Mateo Kovacic also scored for Pep Guardiola’s side against the Premier League west London club.
Speaking on beIN Sports, Obi Mikel branded Haaland as a ‘top striker with Premier League experience.’
“Didier Drogba. We knew if you give him two or three chances he will score one. We’ve seen Haaland today,” the former Super Eagles captain said.
“The first chance he got. The way he took the ball. The way he finished.
“This is a top, top striker with Premier League experience. We don’t have that.”
