Former France international, Robert Pires, has claimed Manchester City winger, Jeremy Doku is a better player than Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.
Pires, speaking with Wettbasis, called on Saka to step up in the big matches.
Saka has been a crucial member of Mikel Arteta’s squad, as they fought City for the Premier League title in two consecutive seasons.
But Pires, who was part of Arsenal’s title-winning squad in 2004, believes that Doku is the more rounded player.
He said: “Bukayo still lacks a certain level of consistency and experience, especially in the big games.
“Perhaps this season, especially in the Champions League, he will show a more convincing face than last season when it counts.
“For example, in my opinion Jeremy Doku from Manchester City is a bit better because he is technically stronger, has better dribbling skills and is more imaginative.”
