    Ex-FCT public complaints commissioner turbaned as Santurakin of Rubochi

    The Sa’Rubochiyi of Rubochi chiefdom in Kuje area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Pada, has turbaned the former commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PPC), Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, as the Santurikin of Rubochi.

    Alhaji Pada, who also turbaned his son, Sadiq Ibrahim, as Tafidan Abaji, at a ceremony in his palace on Saturday, said the palace decided to confer the traditional titles on the recipients due to their contributions to the development of the chiefdom.

    He said the recipients have been of support in the areas of employment opportunities to the youth of the area.

    He also said the recipients have contributed to the progress of the chiefdom, even as he called on the recipients to see their turbaning as another task ahead of them to do more for the people of the area.

    The former FCT PCC commissioner said he was elated and honored.

    He said the traditional title conferred on him has brought additional responsibilities, saying he and other recipients would work together to ensure they attract more development to Rubochi chiefdom.

    “And we shall use all our connections to see how we can better the lots of Rubochi chiefdom and also how to bring more amenities and infrastructural development for the chiefdom especially the palace,” he said.

    Among those who were also turbaned included, Engineer Al Hasan D. Zakwoyi, as Garkuwan Rubochi, Barrister Sunday Kuku, as Shamanki Rubochi, Galadima T. Gabakwo, as Makaman Rubochi, and Aliyu Ahmed as Magaji Rubochi.
