The Coalition for United Political Parties (CUPP) has demanded crucial documents from the Ogun State Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Finance.
The request, made through their legal representative MUS Partners, seeks information on several public housing schemes in the state.
In a letter dated January 13, 2025, exclusively obtained by PLATFORM TIMES, MJS Partners, acting on behalf of CUPP, outlined specific documents needed under the Freedom of Information Act, 2011.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that these documents include the names of allottees and proof of payment for housing allocations in various estates across Ogun State.
The schemes listed include the GRA Regeneration and Idi-Aba Housing Schemes in Abeokuta, as well as the Igbeba Housing Scheme in Ijebu-Ode.
Additional estates covered by the request are the PMB Estate and Workers’ Estate in Kobape, Prince Court Estates in Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode, and Ilaro, and the Gateway Aviation Village in Iperu-Remo.
Moreover, the CUPP is seeking detailed information on the civil engineering contractors who handled these projects, as well as the bidding processes leading to the award of the contracts.
MUS Partners requested that the documents be provided within seven days of receiving the letter.
