The family of a 56-year-old man, Afolabi Ayodeji Olusesan, popularly known as Afoo, has raised alarm over his sudden disappearance in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
According to the family, Afolabi was last seen on Friday, July 11, 2025, at about 7:00am when he left his residence located at No. 79D, Oke-Ejigbo Street, opposite the former A-Z Pharmacy in Oke-Ejigbo, Abeokuta.
Described as dark-complexioned and fluent in both Yoruba and English, Afolabi reportedly left home wearing a white jersey, knicker, and canvas. He has no tribal marks.
Since his disappearance, the family said all efforts to trace his whereabouts have proved abortive, prompting them to seek the assistance of the public.
“We are deeply worried and appeal to anyone with useful information to please contact the nearest police station,” a family member said.
Concerned individuals are urged to reach out to the Adatan Police Division, Oke-Itoku Police Station, or any nearby police formation. Alternatively, information can be relayed via the following phone numbers: 07047031515 or 08034183831.
The family also appealed to the public to share the alert widely in hopes of reuniting with their missing loved one.
