    FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: 4 countries qualify for semi-final stage

    The four countries that have booked their place in the semi-final stage of the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia have been confirmed.

    The four countries are North Korea, Japan, the United States, and the Netherlands.

    This follows the conclusion of some of the quarter-final fixtures played on Sunday and the early hours of Monday morning.

    Recall that North Korea defeated Brazil 1-0, while Netherlands won 3-0 via penalties against Colombia after the match ended in a 2-2 draw.




    Japan won 1-0 against Spain, and the United States won 3-1 against Germany via penalty shoot-out after the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
