Professor Olusola Kehinde, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has showered praise on PR Primus Limited for their exceptional documentary chronicling the transformational journey of FUNAAB over the last five years.
During the formal presentation of the documentary at the University’s Senate Chambers on Wednesday, Prof Kehinde commended the production, stating, “You have done this job with excellence. You took your time to put this together in a very professional manner.”
Recognizing the somewhat conservative nature of academia, the Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to PR Primus for spotlighting the university’s unique selling points.
He emphasised the documentary’s role in attracting potential investors to enhance the collaboration between the academic and local communities.
Prof Kehinde assured the circulation of the documentary among all university stakeholders, underscoring the importance of understanding the past to navigate the future.
In a heartfelt acknowledgement to the former Vice Chancellor, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako, affectionately known as “Mr. Project,” Prof Kehinde highlighted that 95 per cent inherited projects were completed while 10 projects were commissioned during the last convocation.
He expressed deep appreciation for the legacies Salako left behind.
Commenting on the documentary, Prof. Salako explained the strategic execution of projects during the challenges of COVID-19 to mitigate inflationary impacts.
He expressed hope that the projects would not be underutilized, emphasizing their significance.
Earlier in the proceedings, the Managing Director of PR Primus, Mr. Akin Okudero, extended gratitude to FUNAAB’s management for their confidence in the expertise and know-how of PR Primus, solidifying a successful partnership that brought the university’s transformative journey to the forefront.
