National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),  Abdullahi Ganduje, says the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gasping for breath due to the performance of the ruling party.

Speaking at the APC National summit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday, Ganduje said through the political dexterity of the APC, the ruling party will win the forthcoming Federal Capital Territory (FCT) election.

He said due to the infighting and defection hitting the the PDP, “the party is now gasping for breath, that is why many members of the party are now joining the APC”.

Ganduje said apart from having 22 states out of the 36 in the country, one more governor is on his way to joining the party soon.

He said following the victory of the party in the last off-cycle election, the party is working and preparing for the coming election in Anambra and others.

He said the victory of the APC in some states where elections were held after the 2023 general elections is a sign of what is to come in 2027.
