    Gunmen abduct one in Ibadan

    Gunmen have kidnapped one person in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

    Our correspondent gathered that Akika was abducted Wednesday evening at his residence located at Olorunda Aba in Lagelu Local Government Area of the state.

    The whereabouts of Akika have not been revealed as of the time of filing this report on Thursday.

    The Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Adewale Osifeso, when contacted, confirmed the abduction.




    Osifeso, in his reaction, noted that an investigation has commenced into the matter.

    Osifeso, in a short statement sent to DAILY POST on Thursday, said, “Investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates will be provided accordingly, please.”
