The Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG has called for concerted efforts to ensure a secure, united and progressive Northern Nigeria.

The newly elected CNG Coordinator, Jigawa State branch, Ukashatu Bello made the call in his acceptance speech in Dutse, the state capital.

He said there is a need for more commitment from Northerners to overcome a series of challenges bedevilling the region for years.

He explained that the organization is poised to tackle the pressing challenges facing the region, including insecurity, poverty, and lack of access to education and healthcare.

Ukashatu, however, pledged to work tirelessly to strengthen the coalition’s role in promoting unity, peace, and justice in the region.

“Our administration will work tirelessly to strengthen the coalition’s role in promoting unity, peace, and justice in the region”

“We are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, and it is imperative that we work together to address the pressing issues facing our people,” Bello said.

“We are committed to fostering inclusion, transparency, and accountability in our operations, and to engaging with all stakeholders to ensure that our activities reflect the needs and aspirations of the people of Jigawa State and Northern Nigeria”

Other elected executives include Shamsudeen Sani Kandi as Deputy State Coordinator and Nazir Garki as Secretary.
