In a remarkable gesture of commitment to education and community progress, The House of Emmanuel’s Foundation, spearheaded by Oluwasegun Emmanuel, presented scholarships to twenty outstanding students in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The foundation, dedicated to empowerment, financial literacy, and education, recently conducted an examination for 420 students across the state.
From this rigorous selection process, the top 20 students emerged as recipients of scholarships that will cover all their educational expenses, including school uniforms and bags, from SS1 through their WAEC exams.
Additionally, the foundation bestowed a special award upon the best overall student, reinforcing its unwavering dedication to education.
Emmanuel expressed the foundation’s future plans, including the introduction of ICT training for the youth of Ogun State, aimed at fostering community progress.
Emmanuel stated, “The House of Emmanuel’s Foundation is proud to award scholarships to students who excelled in our recent scholarship examination. We are committed to empowerment, education, financial literacy, and overall well-being.
“Out of the 420 students who participated in the exam, we have chosen the top 20, and we will support them comprehensively on their educational journey, from SS1 through WAEC. Additionally, we recognize and reward the best overall student.”
He urged the scholarship recipients to take their education seriously, emphasizing that their success in future exams could open doors to tertiary education and international awards in the UK or USA.
Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, President of the Rotary Club of Abeokuta, also spoke at the event, highlighting the significance of supporting brilliant students whose parents struggle to pay school fees.
She encouraged the scholarship recipients to remain diligent and dedicated, fostering a spirit of excellence that would inspire sponsors to continue their support.
