How I Fell In Love With Oyedepo’s Daughter – Adeboye’s Son
Daud Olatunji
Pastor Leke Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, recently opened up about a youthful crush he had on Love Oyedepo, the daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel.
This revelation came during a 47-minute podcast episode titled “Confession Box,” hosted by Leke Adeboye himself, and uploaded on his YouTube channel on Friday.
In a candid conversation with his guest, Isaac Oyedepo, Love’s brother, Leke Adeboye shared the lighthearted confession.
“I used to have a crush on your sister, Love, but she was crushing on my brother,” he admitted, adding a touch of humour and nostalgia to the discussion.
During the podcast, Leke also shared the story of his own marriage proposal to his wife, Titilope Rachel Adeboye.
Adhering to the traditions of the RCCG, he proposed without a ring. Instead, he read a scroll to her, promising that she would never regret marrying him.
This unconventional yet heartfelt proposal evidently worked, as the couple married in 2011 and are now blessed with four children.
Leke Adeboye, the youngest child of Enoch and Folu Adeboye, serves as an assistant pastor at RCCG and also works as the senior personal assistant to his father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Love Oyedepo, who was the object of Leke’s youthful affection, is now married to Pastor Stephen Ogah, an associate pastor at the Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Living Faith Church Worldwide.
The podcast episode, blending humour with heartfelt confessions, highlighted the close-knit relationships and shared histories between the Adeboye and Oyedepo families.
PLATFORM TIMES reports that the revelation from Pastor Leke Adeboye not only entertained listeners but also shed light on the personal and familial bonds that connect two of Nigeria’s most influential Christian families.
