‘I’m tired of not being a bug’ – SZA
American R&B star, Solána Imani Rowe, popularly known as SZA, has said she’s “tired” of not being a bug.
According to the singer, her desire to be a bug inspired her bug prosthetics for her appearance on a recent episode of the ‘Hot Ones’ podcast.
“No other reason, I’m just tired of being… not a bug,” she said of her choice of costume.
The four-time Grammy-winning artist shared that she feels more accomplished by songs she suffered for.
“I have a harder time enjoying anything if I don’t suffer for it. ‘Nobody Gets Me’ is my goal of like, ‘I can make a ballad’… And then they’re like, ‘This other song that took you 3 seconds to write as a joke, is [doing well].’ I guess I just need—Suffering adds value, always,” SZA expressed.
