This past weekend, Kano came alive with a joyful, colourful celebration as Malta Guinness hosted its unforgettable Eid Fest at Ado Bayero Mall, a three-day celebration of culture, connection, and the spirit of Sallah.

From June 7 to 9, families, friends, and festive hearts gathered to enjoy games, gifts, music, and moments of laughter all wrapped in the wholesome, nourishing refreshment of Malta Guinness. The mall became a true centre of celebration, where everyone, young and old, felt seen and included.

Some of the most memorable moments were the nostalgic emotions, like the spirited dancing competitions or the group of friends laughing and taking selfies in their crisp kaftans to hold on to the memory of the day. Even strangers were seen sharing cold cans of Malta Guinness under the Kano sun, united by joy and the spirit of celebration in the air.

The star-studded lineup added to the joy across the three days; Ali Nurudeen brought the energy on Saturday, Chef Maah lit up Sunday with her warmth and charm, and the grand finale on Monday, June 9, was headlined by the legendary Ali Nuhu, welcomed with thunderous cheers from fans.

Throughout the event, attendees participated in various interactive challenges and games, earning items such as packs of Malta Guinness drinks, branded shirts, umbrellas, flasks, and stationery. One lucky guest, Abiodun Johnson, went home with the star prize of the day – a full Ram, after winning the raffle, calling it “his best Sallah ever!”

For Malta Guinness, this event was about nourishing the soul of a community and celebrating the beauty of coming together. As Brand Manager, Koji Ndupani shared, “The energy and love we’ve felt here show us the importance of showing up, not just as a brand, but as part of the culture.”

From branded gifts and joyful cheers to the refreshing taste that kept everyone going, Malta Guinness reminded us that Sallah is sweetest when shared, and Kano truly showed how to celebrate with heart.
