    JUST IN: Tinubu arrives National Assembly for Democracy Day address

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived at the House of Representatives chamber to deliver his Democracy Day address to a joint session of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

    Tinubu was ushered into the chamber alongside the Vice President, Kashim Shettima; SGF George Akume; APC National chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; and other key members of his cabinet.

    Also present at the chamber to observe the special session are prominent traditional rulers from across the country, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Oguwunsi and Ochi’Idoma, Dr John Elaigwu Odogbo, among others.

    In attendance were former presiding officers of the National Assembly, among them, Senator Bukola Saraki, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim and others.
