    Kaduna: We’re committed to promotion, protection of the rights of PWDs – Gov Sani

    The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Thursday, said his administration is committed to the promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs).

    Governor Uba Sani stated this when he received in audience the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters, Comrade Mohammed Abba Isa, and his team at Sir Kashim House, Kaduna.

    Uba Sani, who wrote on his verified Facebook page, assured his visitors that he shall continue to give them opportunities to thrive and realize their potentials to the fullest.




    “Our policies and programmes have prioritized the interests of persons with disabilities and given hope to the poor, vulnerable, and underserved in Kaduna State. The team presented me with the ‘Disability Inclusion Compliant Governor’ award.”

    Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters, Comrade Mohammed Abba Isa, and his team commended the Kaduna State Government for its inclusive and pro-poor policies and sustained commitment to the principles of fairness, justice, and equity.
