In the spirit of Christmas generosity, Hon. AbdulRasheed Kashamu, the Minority Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly, and representative of Ijebu North State Constituency 1, has embarked on a festive mission to make the season memorable for his constituents.
The 27-year-old lawmaker distributed a bounty of food items and cash to various segments of the community.
Expressing his gratitude, Hon. Kashamu acknowledged the pivotal role played by the royal fathers in the community. Led by the paramount ruler of Ijebu Igbo, the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo; HRM (Oba) Lawrence Jaiye-Oba Adebajo (Ojuromi VI), and the five other traditional rulers, the leaders were instrumental in fostering a sense of unity and community spirit during the holiday season.
The generous gesture from Hon. Kashamu reached beyond political circles, encompassing political leaders, wards’ leaders, wards’ excos, political groups, and notable personalities within the constituency.
This inclusive approach highlights a commitment to spreading joy and unity across various segments of the community.
As the son of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu, who represented Ogun East Senatorial District in the 8th Senate from 2015 to 2019, Hon. AbdulRasheed Kashamu carries on a legacy of public service and community engagement.
In his message to the constituents, the lawmaker urged moderation in celebrating the festivities.
He emphasized the importance of coming together as a community, fostering goodwill, and spreading the joy of the season.
Hon. AbdulRasheed Kashamu extends his warmest wishes for a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all residents of Ijebu North State Constituency 1, embodying the spirit of giving and community that defines the holiday season.
