Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, marked the New Year in grand style by rewarding the loyalty and dedication of his longest-serving band member, Fatai Oluperi Ayinla.
At the “New Year Dance” concert held on January 1 at the Balmoral Convention Center, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, KWAM 1 astonished attendees by presenting Ayinla with a cash gift of N20 million.
The veteran singer extolled Ayinla’s unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the band, describing him as a cornerstone of its success.
“Oluperi Ayinla’s dedication has been instrumental in the growth of this band,” KWAM 1 said during the presentation, drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.
Adding to the celebratory mood, Nollywood actor and producer, Femi Adebayo, also contributed N500,000 to Ayinla, further honoring his longstanding service to the music group.
The event was a night of celebration, marked by electrifying performances and heartwarming moments that highlighted the bond within KWAM 1’s band.
