Barcelona on Friday announced new captains to lead the first team.
The Blaugrana disclosed this in a statement on their website.
The new first team captains are Marc-André ter Stegen (first), Ronald Araujo (second), Frenkie de Jong (third), Raphinha (fourth) and Pedri (fifth).
The five players were voted by the squad members themselves.
“The captains of the FC Barcelona men’s first team have been announced for the 2024/25 season. In order of choice, these are Marc-André ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha and Pedri,” Barca’s statement read.
