Real Madrid have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their LaLiga tie with Celta Vigo on October 19.
The LaLiga giants disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that defender Eder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg.
Militão’s progress will be monitored by Los Blancos amid the international break.
This is coming following Real Madrid’s LaLiga 2-0 victory over Villarreal last weekend.
“Following tests carried out on our player Eder Militão by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg. His progress will be monitored,” Real Madrid’s statement read in part.
Militão will be out for ten days and the Brazilian international is expected to return for action for Carlo Ancelotti’s side later this month.
