    Late Oyo APC chairman, Omodewu laid to rest

    A former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu has been buried.

    DAILY POST reports that Omodewu was until his death, the APC chairman in Oyo State.

    He was a former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matters and later served as commissioner for housing during the administration of Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

    Omodewu passed away on August 19th, 2024 in the United States after a brief illness at the age of 61 years.




    He is a native of Otu in Itesiwaju local government area of the state.

    The funeral service was held at First Baptist Church, Otu.

    The body of the late chairman was later lowered into the grave amidst emotions as mourners struggled to hold back tears on Friday.

    The burial was attended by APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, Senators Abdulfatai Buhari (Oyo North), Yunus Akintunde (Oyo Central) and Sharafadeen Alli (Oyo South).
