A medical practitioner, Bolaji Marie Odusina, has concluded plans to organise a two-day free medical outreach in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area and Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State as part of efforts to deepen access to grassroots healthcare.
PLATFORM TIMES reports that the outreach, scheduled under the “Doctors Without Prejudice” initiative, will take place in Sagamu on March 17, 2026, at the School Field, opposite Awolowo Market, while residents of Ado-Odo/Ota will benefit from the exercise on March 18, 2026, at Oke-Ore, Olukade Compound.
According to a statement made available to PLATFORM TIMES on Wednesday, the initiative is designed to provide accessible and preventive healthcare services to residents, particularly vulnerable groups with limited access to quality medical care.
Services to be offered during the outreach include free medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, malaria testing and treatment, distribution of essential medications, health education and lifestyle counselling, as well as referrals for advanced medical care where necessary.
Speaking ahead of the exercise, Odusina reaffirmed her commitment to improving public health indices in Ogun State.
She said, “Healthcare remains a critical pillar of development. Through this outreach, we are bringing essential medical services closer to the people and encouraging preventive health practices across our communities.”
Odusina, an indigene of Ijebu, is known for championing initiatives focused on accessible healthcare delivery, women empowerment and youth engagement within the state.
Residents of both local government areas have been urged to turn out early, as the services will be offered free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
