In a significant development in the case involving the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Balogun Samson (Sam Larry) have regained their freedom after spending over 30 days in prison.

The duo fulfilled the conditions set by the court, leading to their release on Friday.

The legal saga began on October 4, 2023, when a magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, remanded Naira Marley and Sam Larry in police custody following a plea from law enforcement.

However, on November 6, 2023, the court granted them bail in the sum of N20 million with three sureties.

Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Benjamin Hundeyin, provided an update on the matter, confirming that Naira Marley and Sam Larry had met their bail conditions and were released.

The release followed the bail conditions set by Justice Adeola Olatunbosun of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court.

Justice Olatunbosun had stipulated the conditions, including the surrender of passports and weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department, as part of the terms for their release.

The legal proceedings attracted significant attention from fans and the public, as the artists navigated the intricacies of the judicial process.

As Naira Marley and Sam Larry step out of prison, the case continues to unfold, with the music industry and the public closely watching the developments surrounding the mysterious death of MohBad.
