The Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), Ota Branch, is set to host an international webinar in collaboration with the Houston Place of Arbitration, Texas, United States of America.
The webinar, themed “Breaking into International Arbitration: Global Pathways for Nigerian Lawyers,” is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 9th April 2026 at 3:00 p.m. (WAT).
The session will be delivered by Dr. Darya Shirokova, a triple-qualified lawyer (Russia, France, and the United States – California), and Founder of the Houston Place of Arbitration, with extensive experience in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution.
The collaboration underscores the commitment of the NBA-YLF Ota Branch to exposing its members and the wider legal community to global opportunities and emerging trends in dispute resolution.
Speaking on the initiative, the Chairman of the NBA-YLF Ota Branch, Bolaji Kuyebi, Esq., ACArb, noted that the webinar forms part of ongoing efforts to promote professional development and connect Nigerian lawyers with international platforms.
The webinar will be held virtually, and participation is open to members of the legal community and the general public.
