The Niger State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating effectively with the media and fostering a harmonious relationship that promotes the state’s growth and development.

The government stated this when the Niger State Correspondents Chapel of NUJ, led by its chairman, Yakubu Mustapha Bina, paid separate courtesy visits to the governor’s media aides at Government House, Minna.

The three media aides are Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Bologi, Special Adviser Print Media Aisha Wakaso and Special Adviser Digital Media and Strategy Abdullberqy Usman Ebbo.

They all, with one voice, pledged to collaborate with the media for the greater good of the community and the state.

Earlier, the chapel chairman drew the attention of the government to some critical issues affecting the union while applauding Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration for the ongoing developmental projects across all sectors of the economy.

He further assured that his members would remain steadfast in their commitment to professional excellence, making decisions without fear, favour, or prejudice.

Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Bologi called for the support and understanding of the media in the state to ensure the required publicity for the administration, saying “The media are partners in progress and must be accorded the desired respect.”

Special Adviser on Digital Media and Strategy Abdullberqy Usman Ebbo pledged a smooth and collaborative relationship between the government and media in Niger State.

Also, Special Adviser on Print Media, Aisha Wakaso, reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to inclusive participation and comprehensive publicity for its programmes.
