    Nigerian Broadcasters Float New Association, ANBROAD, Calls For Nigeria Unity

    Some broadcasters across Nigeria has unveiled a new association, called Association of Nigerian Broadcasters ANBROAD.

    The broadcasters in a statement issued and jointly signed by Chairman steering committee, Kolade Alabi and Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Adegbenro, said the reason for the new association was to ensure more inclusiveness.

    PLATFORM TIMES gathered that some members of the new association were former leaders and members of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria ,FIBAN .

    The statement read “We, members of Association of Nigerian Broadcasters hereby announce the formal take off of our dear association .

    “We did this in order to be more inclusive in the absorption of like minded broadcasters and media practitioners nationwide .

    “We are committed to upholding the standard ethics of broadcasting and ensuring national unity through broadcasting .

    “Please feel free to relate with our state chapters and the need arises.”
