Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, has said the fascism by President Bola Tinubu must be stopped now.

The statement comes after the arrest of Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the clamping down of the office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP in Abuja by the Department of State Services, DSS.

DAILY POST earlier reported the arrest of Ajaero by the DSS and later the clampdown of the SERAP’s office in Abuja by the Service.

Ajaero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom, UK, for an official assignment when he was picked up by the secret police.

In a separate report also, DSS had demanded to see SERAP directors in Abuja.

However, Sowore, in a post on his X handle, accused the new DSS boss of resuming work for his ‘uncle’, Tinubu.

He said: “I can’t understand the pact @NLCHeadquarters leaders had with @officialabat for them not to have shut down the damn country and sided with the people. Is it that they did some shady underground dealings they are being blackmailed with? #FreejoeAjaeroNOW #RevolutionNow.

“The new DSS @OfficialDSSNG has resumed work for his uncle Bola, as Operatives Storm @SERAPNigeria Office In Abuja, Demand To See Their Directors!
Fascism of @officialABAT must be stopped NOW! #revolutionnow.”
