The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that there was no casualty in the building collapse in Orile-Iganmu, a suburb in the state.
DAILY POST reports that a two-storey building in the Orile Iganwu area of Lagos collapsed on Monday.
The Head, Public Affairs Unit, LASEMA, Mr Nosa Okunbor, who confirmed this in a statement, said that the building collapsed on its own at about 08.45 a.m.
He further revealed that there were no casualties in the incident, adding that more updates will be given.
“LASEMA Response Teams in Search and Rescue Operation is at a self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu.
“No casualties and updates to follow,” he said.
