‘Not because of my pretty face’ – Ronaldo on why he’s most followed person on social media

Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he is the most followed person in the world ‘because of everything,’ not just his pretty face.

According to him, any story will sell very fast and take the first page when his name is on it.

Ronaldo suggested that stories about him go viral simply because he is ‘the most followed guy’ in the world and this is not just because of his pretty face but for everything.

The Portuguese spoke about the harsh criticism he receives in an interview with Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel, UR Cristiano.

“It is much more easy to criticize than to appreciate what you really have. We know how the press works.

“If you speak good, it doesn’t sell. You have to speak bad. It is normal. And if you speak about Cristiano, you’re coming in the first page because I am the most followed guy in the world.

“It’s not only because of my pretty face but in everything,” Ronaldo said.
