Sunshine Stars assistant coach, Bobola Akinfolarin has attributed his team’s defeat to Remo Stars’ lack of concentration.
The Owena Waves fell to a slim 1-0 defeat against Remo Stars in Ikenne on Saturday.
Shuaib Ibrahim’s seventh-minute goal separated both teams in the game.
Akinfolarin added that the team’s failure to convert chances also led to their defeat.
“We lost the game due to lack of concentration, and our inability to convert our chances,” he told Sunshine Stars media.
“We will go back to the drawing board and work on areas that need adjustments”.
“I don’t know why that beautiful goal was disallowed.”
Sunshine Stars will host Abia Warriors next at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
