Akwa United will trade tackle with Enyimba in a pre-season friendly match in Uyo, DAILY POST reports.
The encounter is billed for the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday.
Akwa United made the announcement on the social media.
“The stage is set for a grade A pre-season friendly against Enyimba International.” The club wrote on X.
The game is aimed at intensifying both clubs preparation for the 2024-25 season.
Akwa United will take on Lobi Stars in their first game of the new season while Enyimba will play newly promoted side Beyond Limits.
The new NPFL season will kick-start on Saturday.
